You may go ahead and register to take the LCCA or LCPA exam and we will complete the first step to verify your eligibility for the exam. We will then notify the current status (open, closed, reduced hours of operation) of the testing center you are registering for. We apologize for the inconvenience.****

Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has contracted with the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) to develop the exams for both the Child Care Administrator License and the Child-Placing Agency Administrator License. HHSC and UTA are continuing to work together in the administration of the exams. The exams are given via this secure website managed by UTA. There is a nonrefundable exam fee is $50 each time you register for an exam. In the event of a no-show or request to reschedule or transfer, you will forfeit the original fee and be required to submit a new registration with payment of a nonrefundable fee of $50. Utilize this registration link for FIRST attempts of the Licensed Child Care Administrator's (LCCA) exam.
